I'm a Toronto based design student graduating in April 2014 from the York University/Sheridan College Program in Design (Bdes). I have a very simplistic approach to design and always maintain a high attention to detail. I am a creative, reliable and multitasking designer who loves to work and share knowledge in a collaborative environment. Enjoy!

The challenge of this project was to take a random sampling of objects and organize them into an interactive environment. I chose to organize objects by the usefulness in a survival situation, sorting them into different categories of survival needs, such as shelter, first aid and food/water. The visual inspiration for my site’s design was the US Army’s field manuals for survival.
Black Tie is a display typeface that combines the impact of a stencil typeface with the readability and elegance of a modern typeface’s form. The font’s heavy weight makes it perfect for use in large point sizes to create headlines for editorials, posters, logos, and CD covers. To showcase my typeface, I designed a saddle stitched booklet that shows fashion-inspired applications of the typeface.
Collection of several logotypes I've made over the years. Most of the logos were designed just for fun.
Here I wanted to experiment with the geometric forms that make up letters. I expanded on traditional letter forms mixed with straight lined shapes of ancient runes, creating a fashionable, clean variety encourages unusual and extroverted creation.
While the issue of children's health is complex and tied to many factors, it is clear that advertising foods low in nutrient quality runs counter to health promotion. I created this 16 panel pamplet to inform Canadian parents about the negative affects marketing has on children's food preferences and consumption habits.
Below are some editorial spreads I have pulled together in my free time, experimemnting with different typefaces, layout and styles.
Below are two infographics I completed in 2011. The first infographic, "MILK", visualized my milk consumption over three weeks, breaking down how I used the milk. The second inforgrahic visuallizes my horseback ridining competition results over an entire year, focusing on the total number of awards won as well as money earned.
For the past two years, I have been running my own small business selling commissioned pastel portraits to clients across North America and in Europe. More drawings can be seen on my facebook page here.
Ecobottoms is a fictional brand of cloth diaper products. Each of three different cloth diaper products (diapers, diaper liners and cotton wipes) are packaged in the same sized square carboard boxes, using coloured labels to differentiate the three products.
The rationale behind this packaging was to make an environmentally conscious product, reusable cloth baby diapers, even more sustainable by giving its packaging a second use as a building block. After the diaper product is removed, a flap inside the box covers the display window to create a building block elegant enough to be used for decorative purposes yet durable enough for child's play. The block can even be personalized with a photo, as the converted display window acts as a picture frame. This concept encourages brand loyalty, as consumers will want to collect more boxes to expand their block set.
For this project, I established a new mock visual identification for the Newport Folk Festival and applied it to a large format bilingual poster promoting the festival. The Newport Folk Festival has always been about bridging the past, present, and future. The challenge for this project was to create a contemporary design that reflected the historic, folk roots of the festival. In order to achieve this, I contrasted a clean, modern layout with hand drawn elements in the imagery and word mark. The wave design was not only inspired by the festival's harbor-front location, but also the smooth sound waves of folk music. Furthermore, the poster features 54 waves— one for each year the festival has been running for.
This poster was created as an introduction to my research project on time mangagment, which is a topic I've become interested in after seeing many students in my program striggling to keep up with all their work. I'm irresistibly drawn in by time management itself: the illusion that somehow, if one can just seize control of their schedule and prioritize and work strategically, they will get everything done and then live happily ever after.
The basis for this assignment was to take photos of an area downtown Toronto and incorporate the images into a poster. I chose to contrast the traditional organic forms of the old building with modern triangles to expressing the histroical landmark's function as a modern studio.
Warner Bros. came to B-Reel with the exciting prospect of creating an online experience for Alfonso Cuaron’s magnificent movie Gravity. On top of housing all of the regular press content of a movie website, we created an immersive 3D experience where users can explore the main locations freatured in the film. The goal was for the user to feel as if they were space-walking from a first-person perspective, lost and alone in the vastness of space. Beautiful, clean, functional design was our goal with the site. We wanted the imagery and the environment to be the focus.
